Clinical exercise at Tweak Health is delivered by experienced Physiotherapists using Pilates Reformers and structured strength equipment. We keep class sizes intimate so your program can be supervised closely and tailored to your individual health needs.

What is Clinical Exercise?

Physiotherapists use Clinical exercise as a powerful tool for injury rehabilitation and prevention. Your Physiotherapist supervises a specifically tailored exercise program designed to support your safety, health, and wellness goals. This hands-on approach supports recovery after injuries or surgery and helps resolve other musculoskeletal issues.

How big are the group sessions?

Each session includes a maximum of three participants, allowing your Physiotherapist to give you focused, personalised attention so you can achieve your health goals effectively.

What To Expect At Your First Session?

Attending for the first time may feel a little intimidating. However, trust us, this feeling will disappear as soon as you meet our warm, friendly Physios!

During your first session, your Physio will conduct an initial posture assessment and create an individualised program to suit your needs. Moreover, our Physio’s will guide you on how to safely use our Pilates Reformer machines.

Additionally, offering both individual and couples classes ensures a more intimate setting. Consequently, this allows you to gain deeper understanding and awareness of your body, its capabilities and limitations, and the exercises you will perform.

Furthermore, each session is specifically designed to help you achieve your goals, whether for rehabilitation purposes or to improve your fitness

Clinical Exercise Session FAQs

What should I expect after my first session?
It is common to feel some mild muscle soreness after your first session, especially when specific muscle groups such as the core are being challenged. Sharp or worsening pain is not expected — if this happens, please contact the clinic.
How often should I book a session?
A common schedule is 1–3 sessions per week, depending on your goals, program, and recovery. Pre-booking is recommended, as sessions can fill in advance.
Can I use private health for Clinical Exercise Sessions?
Sessions are run by a Physiotherapist, so private health may be available if your policy includes Physiotherapy cover.
What should I bring or wear?
Wear comfortable, close-fitting activewear so movement can be seen clearly. Bring a water bottle and towel. Bare feet or grip socks are usually suitable.
Are Clinical Exercise Sessions hard?
Sessions can be challenging, but exercises are adjusted to suit your current strength, fitness, and mobility level.
Are Clinical Exercise Sessions only for women?
No. Clinical Exercise Sessions can be suitable for a wide range of people and are not limited by gender.
